Successful Ways Of Burning Fat But Not Losing Muscle

By James Steele

You may have been having trouble trying to burn fat but not muscle, we understand this. This pain and frustration is shared by millions of other people too. However, achieving that kind of goal does not need to be impossible or frustrating. You need the right information to see this through and your dedication plus commitment. If you cant stick to your exercise program then it is most likely because you do not enjoy this one. You will find that you do not mind exercising if you are having fun when doing it. When you see some results you will look forward to exercising again.

One of the best proven approaches of exercises, which is interval training, should be considered by those who are serious about getting rid of their fat. There are quite a few ways of doing this with a number of exercises. A jumping rope, treadmill or a bike (either stationary or real) could be used for example. When it comes to cardio, the approach of long distance running will work very well for fat loss. However, if you want to do it in the most effective manner, then the long distance approach is not what you want to do. We are distinguishing what is the 'most effective' way to lose fat. Most of us know about the consequences of no fat diets and other such similar diets. There are indeed people out there that think they must purge their diet of all fats. Fat loss will most likely not occur when doing this. As soon as the body knows there won't be any more fat coming in it will conserve fat. So part of the trick here is to make the body, or brain, think that there is no need at all for fat. It's kind of like the opposite of the effects of the starvation mechanism. When your body sees that the fat isn't needed it won't cling onto it. Instead fat will be burned off and the muscle won't be touched.

However, there is no need to totally eliminate them and you really should not. Another reason to not get rid of carbs altogether is that getting all of your calories from just fats and proteins is rather difficult. You would be pleasantly surprised to see how fast and easily you can drop your weight when you reduce your carb intake. About working out, this may sound a bit different, but look for those that you honestly feel you can continue doing. Having a higher rate of retention in regards to your workouts will enable you to enjoy them more. There really is no good reason to punish your self by doing something you hate. Additionally, your perception is important as some are much better than others. If you like to keep tabs on things like your performance times then you can look at how well you're doing. The non-competing folks out there should not be too harsh on themselves if they feel that they are. At the end of the day we just feel that you should focus on how you performed and you should feel good about it.

Here is an old piece of known wisdom that has been around for a long time. But, surprisingly, not everybody knows this, and it will truly make a difference with your eating habits. Chew your food many times and eat quite slowly. There's a time lag of roughly twenty minutes between when you are full up and your brain is told that it is.

We've seen various ways of maintaining lean muscle mass whilst burning off fat with some scientific and common sense approaches. Every tip and suggestion works well, but learning to apply a bit of common sense is certainly wise.
