Different diets, will of course suit various people. This will depend on the situation and your lifestyle. For example, many people find that counting calories suits them best. However, this is not something that a lot of people can do. It does take a lot of time and effort, and when you are working long hours, one needs time on your hands.

Support from the family is also important. A lot of people don't have this so it is necessary to lay down the ground rules before you get started. Let your family know that this is important to you and that you need their encouragement. They should not be offering you chocolates or second helpings. This is definitely something to keep in mind.

A lot of people also eat because they are bored. When they are working from home, they will take a break and head for the refrigerator. They may settle in front of the television with a snack. This is the type of thing which one must avoid. It is always a good thing to have a couple of snacks available, but you have to limit yourself. You also have to have something healthy available.
